Her First White Castle

I’m a huge fan of any internet video containing the words “Her First” followed by the phrase “Insert explicit and offsetting sexual activity here.” I also love White Castle. Pairing these two interests together, I decided it was time to make my own “Her First Time” video, only without the blood, moaning and depletion of pride generally associated with this genre of film making.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I present “Her First White Castle Slyder,” starring Zac Pritcher (me!) and Amanda Wallace.

[Food Review] The Big Hardee From Hardee’s

When I reviewed the ho-hum Fried Bologna Biscuit from Hardee’s, I talked a little bit about a sandwich called the Big Carl. For those of you who don’t know, a chain of burger joints called Carl’s Jr. is owned by the same company behind Hardee’s. It was Carl’s that first revealed a sandwich called the Big Carl, whose major selling point was the inclusion of more meat and more cheese than a Big Mac from McDonald’s, only for less money.

Burger lovers without access to a Carl’s Jr. can rejoice, because Hardee’s is finally offering a similar burger, dubbed the Big Hardee. There are some key differences to the two burgers, such as the Big Hardee offering three patties of meat where the Big Carl provides eaters with two slightly larger patties. Continue reading

[Food Review] Volcano Nachos

Volcano Nachos tempOverview:

The Volcano Menu has recently began to feel stale for me. I’ve eaten countless Volcano Tacos and refuse to meet Taco Bell’s price demands with the Volcano Burrito unless it’s on a special occasion (happy anniversary, honey), and the magic was just starting to fade. Then lo and behold I receive an email from Everyview reader Troy, who runs the stellar energy drink review site edjunkie.com, informing me of the Volcano Nachos. This surprised me because I had been waiting for that Volcano Crunchwrap our friends over at Grub Grade had predicted. Still, I decided to check into it as soon as possible to see what the Volcano Menu had in store for me.

I’ve ordered them, eaten them, and my bowels violently rejected them, so the only thing that’s left is to review them. Ladies and gentlemen, it’s review time. Continue reading

[Food Review] McDonald’s Angus Deluxe Burger

McdonaldsangusboxOverview:

I don’t eat McDonald’s too often. You see, I used to work for the fast food giant. It’s not that anything particularly gross ever went on behind the scenes, but after eating nothing but McDonald’s for lunch over a span of 3 months, it just loses any appeal it had before.

But now that they’ve finally decided to add a new high quality line of  burgers to their stale menu, I can’t help but be curious. And as our friends at GrubGrade have pointed out, the last time McDonald’s released a new burger was in 2001 with the Big N’ Nasty. I mean Tasty. Whatever, they suck. Continue reading

Food News: Volcano Taco Re-Released Today, Final Volcano Menu Revealed

Well it’s official, Taco Bell’s Volcano Taco has finally made its triumphant return as a permanent item on Taco Bell’s menu. Rumors were circulating that suggested the existence of both Volcano Nachos and a Crunchwrap in addition to the already confirmed Volcano Double Beef Burrito. We regret to inform you, however, that the only items that made the cut were the Burrito and the Taco.

volcanotacoreturnsThe Volcano Taco costs $1.21 and the Volcano Double Beef Burrito will run you $2.99.

Eaters can also get their share of heat with the new Volcano Big Box which includes one of each of the following: Volcano Taco, Volcano Burrito, Cruncy Taco, Cinnamon Twists, and a Soft Drink for $5.99.

Review: Grande Quesadilla

Overview:

tacobell-grande-quesadillaWho doesn’t love Taco Bell’s Quesadillas? Delicious cheese melted over your choice of juicy chicken or marinated steak, topped with a deliciously spicy sauce that perfectly compliments the already wonderfully seasoned delicacy and folded in a warm, tender tortilla. Delicious. And when something tickles your fancy, it’s never bad to have a bigger version. Right? Right.

Unless we’re talking about Taco Bell’s Grande Quesadilla. It’s kind of sad how something that should, in proper accordance with the laws of physics, be far superior when you add mass. However, for whatever stupid reason Taco Bell decided to change the it’s stellar Quesadilla formula when upgrading to a bigger size. I’ll explain more in the review.

Review: Beefy 5-Layer Nachos

Overview:

beefy-5-layer-nachosLoyal readers know I’m a huge fan of Taco Bell’s value menu and with the new 5 and 7-Layer (review soon) nachos there’s even more reason to love value. The 5-Layer nachos are released to the menu as an enhanced version of the already available Triple Layer nachos, which consist of beans, cheese sauce, and red sauce. The 5-Layer nachos adds a three cheese blend of schredded cheese and a scoop of seasoned beef for only 89 cents.

But like all good Taco Bell items (I’m looking at you Volcano Taco and Triple Steak) this is only available for a limited time, so hurry up and read this review and then get your ass out there for some quality time with these nachos. They’ve only got a short time to live.

Review: Angry Whopper

It looks nothing like the picture

It looks nothing like the picture

Overview:

What is the Angry Whopper? Well, run down to Burger King, order a single whopper, sleep with it’s mom and spit on it’s shoes, and BAM! You’ve got yourself one Angry Whopper. Or, you could order a pre-aggitated Whopper while your at BK and save yourself some time.

The Angry Whopper is a spicier version of the popular Whopper hamburger which many people tend to prefer over the Big Mac or Quarter Pounder, as is one of BK’s major selling points. It has a bunch of new ingredients thrown on top to give it a spicy kick. Possibly inspired by the Volcano Taco, the Angry Whopper is made to satisfy the taste-buds of those who love a spiced up meal.

Review: Bacon Cheddar Gordita Crunch

Overview:

Bacon Cheddar Gordita Crunch

Man, Taco Bell’s been making a LOT of new products lately. The Volcano Taco and Triple Steak Burrito are two example of fine, triple A food products that deserve permanent spots on the menu. The Bacon Cheddar Gordita Crunch has way too many syllables and is a lot less satisfying. While I order at least one Volcano Taco every time I go to TB and order the occasional Triple Steak Burrito, I don’t think I will ever order this again. It’s not bad, but it’s no where near as good as most other items on the menu.
