A while back I got my hands on a couple of cans of Verve, an extremely healthy energy supplement with powerful antioxidant attributes. Compared to other similar products, I thought Verve was probably the best energy supplement out there. But that was before I tried MonaVie EMV. Continue reading

[Drink Review] Private Selection Sparkling Lemon Soda
Those of you who know me exclusively through my reviews here on Everyview may not be able to tell, but I am very elegant. I have very high class tastes that can be satisfied only by the finest tobaccos and rarest wines. The tobacco must be smoked out of nothing less than pipes carved from ostrich bones and the wine is only to be sampled from diamond cups crafted by the most skilled jewelers in the world.
Enter Private Selection Sparkling Soda. It’s expensive and comes in a weird-looking glass bottle, but does it tickle my prestige? Continue reading

[Food Review] Batter Blaster (Original)
Overview:
Don’t you hate making pancakes? First you’ve got to get the bulky, square-shaped box full of annoying powder that you have to mix with milk until your wrists are filled with carpel before you can scoop batter onto a frying pan. That process requires a bowl, mixing apparatus, scooping mechanism, and something very few Americans have — time. Either that or they are just really lazy. Possibly just too fat to move.
Regardless of your reason for not making pancakes as often as you would like to, the fact still stands that you want flapjacks every once in a while and would like to be able to eat them without all the preparation. Ladies and gentlemen, allow me to introduce Batter Blasters. Pancakes in a can.
Seriously. Continue reading
[Food Review] Dove Peanut Butter Silky Smooth Milk Chocolate Bar
Overview:
Of all the candied bars you find sitting around your local convenience or grocery store, Dove has always seemed to be one of the snottiest. One always got the impression that if it could emote, Dove would likely scoff at the idea of being stored amongst the Skor’s and Nutrageous’ of the world. This is why I found it so odd to see a new Dove bar containing peanut butter. This is not a shot at peanut butter, as I eat it often. I would not, however, call it as a “classy” food. So is this mash-up worth your money? Continue reading
[Food News] Terre Haute, IN Whitecastle Finally Arrives and Breaks Company Sales Records
Dave Dore, White Castle’s regional director, revealed that the company sold over 30,000 White Castle Slyders on the day of the restaurant’s grand opening at the newly established location in my hometown of Terre Haute, Indiana.
This may surprise the White Castle company, but the people of Terre Haute have literally been begging for a branch of the famous Mid-West burger chain for several years.
And in all honesty I hope whoever it was that thought it would be a financially questionable decision to build restaurant here feels like an absolute idiot.
[Food Review] Crush Pound Cake
Overview:
Pound cakes are possibly the most useful food item on the face of this planet. They can be used as paper weights, door stops, kids like to throw them at passing trains, mobsters tie them to the feet of disloyal clients before dropping them into the nearest river, and starving homeless people bash pizza delivery boys over the head with them to get some chow. But aside from these extremely practical uses, the pound cakes themselves can actually be eaten and are honestly quite delicious despite weighing as much as a morbidly obese hamster. Continue reading
[Food Review] Toblerone Swiss Chocolate Bar
Toblerone is a very unique candy bar. It is made from Swiss milk chocolate and filled with almond nougat and honey and comes in a triangular prism packaging to accommodate the bar’s creative triangle shape, which is actually the thing that drove me to try the strange candy in the first place. That and the name, which is apparently a play on the words Tobler, the candy bar’s inventor, and Torrone, the Latin word for honey and almond nougat. Continue reading

[Food Review] Salsa Fresca Rice Works Crisps
Alright, so by appearance I may be just your regular everyday mildly overweight greasy college student who, by habit, munches on nothing other than slippery burgers, tacos pumped full of over-salted beef and cheese-like sauce, and fries that drip grease and fat like an orphan sheds tears.
But that’s not entirely true, I also enjoy a good slice of shiny, well-lubricated pizza. Continue reading
