[Food Review] Kellogg’s Cinnabon Bars

kelloggscinnabonbarsOverview:

Everyone loves cinnamon rolls, but as is often discussed, most do not have the proper preparation time necessary to make them on a regular enough basis to satisfy their cravings.

Well, whether you are pressed for time, or just lazy (yo), the people at Kellogg’s and Cinnabon have combined forces to give slack asses a bastardized version of their beloved product. Luckily enough, while it’s not the same as a fresh cinnamon roll, Kellogg’s Cinnabon Bars are a pleasant enough alternative for people seeking a quick culinary fix. Continue reading

[Energy Review] Spot On Energy Patch

Overview:

spot on energy patchesYou’ve seen the energy drinks, shots, and candies that kick your adrenaline into high gear and make even the most arduous of tasks a breeze, but surely there’s a quicker way of getting all that caffeine into your blood stream than drinking or eating it, right?

Enter Spot On Energy Patches, a patch that is applied directly onto your skin which makes it the quickest and most efficient way of getting the energy blend into your body next to filling a syringe with Monster and shooting it right into your veins. Which is a horrible idea anyway. Continue reading

[Contest] Butterfinger Buzz!

Butterfing BuzzHere it is, the contest I’ve been promising for the past three weeks! The prize for this contest is a rare caffeinated limited edition Butterfinger, dubbed the Butterfinger Buzz. This baby was set to end its romp through the candy world a few months ago, but I just so happen to have my hands on seven of these bad boys and I’m giving them away to whoever wants them.

[Drink Review] Sunny D Smoothies: Orange Whirl

sunny d orange whirl smoothiesOverview:

I’m not gonna lie. I don’t like Sunny D. I do, however, love smoothies. Creamy, fruity, and delicious. And since these are Sunny D brand, they even hold the kick-ass power of the Sun. The freaking Sun! On top of that, Sunny D Smoothies contain 30% RDI (recommended daily intake) Calcium, and 25% Vitamin D and C.

But who cares about all that nonsense? I sure don’t. What does it taste like? Continue reading

[Food Review] Volcano Double Beef Burrito

Overview:

volcano burritoI know it has been a long time since the Volcano Taco relaunched and brought its new friend with it. I am also aware that I had promised you guys I would review both Volcano products on the same day. Here we are, over two months later, and I’m finally writing this review. Truth be told, I didn’t even plan on reviewing it.

I had actually ordered the new Bacon Cheesy Potato, but thanks to the sub-high school education of the Taco Bell staff, I got this. Looks like the review blog gods are giving me a second chance, so I might as well take it. Continue reading

[Energy Drink Review] Monster Import

monsterimportenergyOverview:

Monster Import is the newest flavor of Monster Energy. ‘Import’ isn’t just a fancy word they slap on the front of the can for connoisseurs like myself, no, the drink is actually imported straight from Amsterdam, the official home of public fornication and casual drug abuse. If you don’t want to try Import for the fact that it is a new Monster, then at least try it for that. Continue reading

[Food Review] Sonic Breakfast Burrito

Overview:

sonic logoI love breakfast. For some reason, I’m rarely as satisfied with a good lunch or dinner as I am with a good breakfast. There’s something about having your belly full in the morning that just starts the day off right.

Unfortunately, I’m both lazy (so I rarely make my own breakfast) and poor (so I’m unable to grab a quick bite regularly). But this morning I decided that my hunger could not wait until my scheduled lunch time, and I rolled through the drive-thru of my local Sonic. I perused the menu, and found something enticing. A breakfast burrito. I thought, “Surely, this is a delicious thing.” So I bought one. Continue reading

[Energy Drink News] New Flavor of Monster Features New Resealable Can

monsterimportMonster has announced that they will be releasing a new Monster drink called “Monster Import.” Import is made with the formula that was developed overseas and is packaged in a unique and innovative resealable can that appears to be superior to the CAP CAN technology used with the Mega Monster.

The can’s cap is a plastic tab that twists to be opened, and twists back to be resealed for freshness. I haven’t seen these anywhere around me yet, but I’m sure they’ll explode onto the energy scene soon enough. As soon as I get my hands on a can I’ll get you guys a review.

[Food Review] McDonald’s Angus Deluxe Burger

McdonaldsangusboxOverview:

I don’t eat McDonald’s too often. You see, I used to work for the fast food giant. It’s not that anything particularly gross ever went on behind the scenes, but after eating nothing but McDonald’s for lunch over a span of 3 months, it just loses any appeal it had before.

But now that they’ve finally decided to add a new high quality line of  burgers to their stale menu, I can’t help but be curious. And as our friends at GrubGrade have pointed out, the last time McDonald’s released a new burger was in 2001 with the Big N’ Nasty. I mean Tasty. Whatever, they suck. Continue reading
