Dave Dore, White Castle’s regional director, revealed that the company sold over 30,000 White Castle Slyders on the day of the restaurant’s grand opening at the newly established location in my hometown of Terre Haute, Indiana.
This may surprise the White Castle company, but the people of Terre Haute have literally been begging for a branch of the famous Mid-West burger chain for several years.
And in all honesty I hope whoever it was that thought it would be a financially questionable decision to build restaurant here feels like an absolute idiot.
Never underestimate the fat ass contingency that lives here.
And I’ve been clamoring for a White Castle here since I was 12. Almost 12 years later, I get my wish.
And I still haven’t gone yet.
They don’t have White Castles where I live, but I sae the Harold and Kumar movie.
And also: 30,000 SANDWICHES!!! Wow.
yup i was waiting there for 10 hour with my friend, first in line but we lost our spots due to a stupid decision to get a few hrs ofsleep in our cars, but i was still number 8 to be in line and that is a respectable position due to the turn out!!
No more late night runs to Plainfield.
Yeah Im pretty sure the people who postponed this idea are letting dogs attack there sac’s, s’all im saying
